This prayer beads mala is made from Bodhi seeds and from turquoise stone. There is a yellow tassel at the end of this mala. Each prayer bead on this mala is 11mm wide, and this mala is 47 inches long. The Buddha Shakyamuni found enlightenment while meditating underneath a Bodhi tree. That explains the significance of the bodhi seed in Tibetan Buddhism. The three turquoise beads on this mala are 10mm wide, and each counting bead helps mark your place as you move your way around the mala during your chants. This bodhi seed and turquoise mala was handmade in Nepal. There are 108 beads on this mala, plus three counting beads, and one guru bead near the tassel.
